Is there a free trial?
Yes — every paid plan starts with 7 days free. You'll enter your email, a password and a card on one page, but nothing is charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then from Settings. There's also a free plan with no time limit and no card at all.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately.
Is there a free plan?
Yes — FortyNote Free is free forever. You get 40 notes, 1 notebook, 1 device, and 1 GB of uploads with no time limit.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. Your notes are encrypted in your browser before they reach our servers. We store ciphertext, not readable notes, and we never sell your data or show you ads.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your data is always safe. If you are over the free plan's limits you won't be able to add new notes until you upgrade or remove some, but everything you already have stays fully editable.
